It's nice to see Russian troops "help" people in Southern Ossetia.
Doesn't this woman look grateful she was helped!

I'm sure that guided missile that blew up the hovel around her was for her
own personal benefit! Or should be believe the "irresponsible and
misinforming American media" hired that woman to roll around in the mud and
give her self a bloody face so she would look good for her Goebbelsque cnn
propaganda shot?
It's nice to see Russia pockets fat again from nationalizing the oil
conglomerates that were sold off to twenty-something oligarchs in the
1990's. There will be plenty of cash for Russia to pay for these small
Afghanistan's throughout the rest of the 21st century!

Subject: very OT: this is ridiculous!
i can't believe how irresponsible and misinforming American media is
all Western media outlets are saying that Russia invaded and attacked
Georgia, and McCain is only making it worse (god forbid he gets elected)
while the truth is Georgian military had shelled the breakaway region of
Georgia (Southern Ossetia) and killed over 1000 civilians over the last 24
hours. Russian military and peacekeeping forces are trying to help helpless
people in Southern Ossetia (where 80% of civilians hold Russian passports).
This is the worst provocation I've seen in my lifetime to position the West
against Russia. And they did it right on the first day of Olympics!!! I
personally have no doubt that U.S. government instigated Georgia to start
this attack.
I'm sorry for bringing political and world issues here, you have a right to
yell at me, but I needed to vent... and more importantly so many people in
U.S. will watch CNN today and will think that Russia started this mess!!
While frontline news on cnn.com say "Georgia 'under attack' as Russian tanks
roll in", just read into the actual article and put 2 and 2 together...
http://edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/08/08/georgia.ossetia/index.html
CNN is saying as little as possible about the truth!!!!
"South Ossetia, with a population of about 70,000 people, declared
independence from Georgia in the early 1990s, but it was not internationally
recognized. Many ethnic Ossetians feel close to Russia and have Russian
passports and use its currency."
"Georgian troops launched new attacks in South Ossetia late Thursday after a
top government official said a unilateral cease-fire offer was met with
separatist artillery fire." <---- these are the attacks that were started
by Georgia Thursday night and killed over 1000 people in Southern Ossetia
