Depending on your release, try a search divided by a pipe-sign.
E.g.: show cdp nei det | inc [string1]|[string2] , for example: show cdp
nei det | inc ip|neighbor

For routers I like e.g.: sh int gi0/0/0 | inc error|rate|packet|drop

Subject: CDP question

Hello Group,

I'm currently working on 6500 switches which have CDP enabled.
Because of the several devices connected to this switch, I'd like to
know if it's possible to combine two " | include" into a sh cdp neigh
det command.
My goal is to get both IP addresses and hostnames in a single command.
Searching the "sh cdp neigh det" is very painfull...

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
