Hi

The fact that you can't receive email could be a number of
other reasons as well. I'm curious, can you receive mail
from other domains and just not hotmail? You may want to
try yahoo or some other remote mail system as well. I
suggest that because hotmail has various controls in place
that may essentially be blacklisting your IP. Have you
checked to see if your IP or subnet is blacklisted or listed
in any or the RBL's? There are various sites you can go to
and easily check to rule that out. Let me know if you need
help with that after doing a web search.

Lastly have you tried capturing packets on your end to see
if the remote email systems attempt a connection. That would
help you narrow down the possibilities. Of course do ensure
your forward and reverse DNS is setup as mentioned.
