Hi Group

I am really confused when choosing value of Tc in calculations . Say I
have a following scenario :

"configure your router such that a particular traffic is limited to
maximum of 500 kbps "

I have matched my traffic type in access list and I say

int f0/0
rate-limit out access-group 10 <cir> <normal burst bytes > <maximum burst bytes>

cir : 5000000 (since this is in bits/sec )
Bc : Tc * 500 000/8 ; what shd I take Tc as ?
