We can not answer anything about what is or is not in the lab.
What I can tell you is it takes about 5 commands to configure a frame relay
switch.....
Are you really that concerned?
Frame-relay switching
Int s0/0
Description connects to router 1
Encap frame-relay
no frame-relay inverse-arp
Frame-relay intf-type dce
Frame-relay route 102 interface s0/1 201
Clock rate 64000
Int s0/1
Description connects to router 2
Encap frame-relay
no frame-relay inverse-arp
Frame-relay intf-type dce
Frame-relay route 201 interface s0/1 102
Clock rate 64000
I would worry more about doing something so difficult as the CCIE lab
without sleeping the night before, as no one does. I can hardly "talk" to a
woman in bed after being up 24 hours... a CCIE jedi needs to configure a
full rack of routers to exact specifications, whew! Now that scares me!
(practice staying awake for 24 hours, and then STARTING a full 8 hour lab
from your vendor's workbook). That's an exercise well spent.

Hi Experts,
When taking the lab exam, do you have to configure the frame relay switch or
will it be configured for you?
Kind regards,
David
