If you configure a command, then it doesn't show in show runn,
it means it is the default.
I am assuming of course you entered everything correctly.
As of your assumption, I suggest that you enter the "no" form of this
command and check it show running. What if you have to use the no form of
this command.
no ip mroute-cache immediately comes to my mind as if you enter "ip
mroute-cache" nothing will show as it is the default.
A command that doesn't show in running config may still be verifiable via
other show commands "sh interface" for example.
I am also assuming that you are Privilege level 15 while executing "sh
runn".
