EIGRP stub router is a feature used in a hub-spoke topology where there is
only one way out of the spoke. Also this feature can help save precious cpu
cycles since the router won't have a large routing table. There are a few
options available when configuring a router as a stub If you want to
configure a stub router so that it only advertises static routes that are
redistributed then you can use eigrp stub static command. I believe that
command has few options:The static keyword will permit the EIGRP Stub
Routing feature to send static routes. Without this option, EIGRP will not
send any static routes, including internal static routes that normally would
be automatically redistributed. It will still be necessary to redistribute
static routes with the redistribute static command.
