Hi,
I am trying to filter HSRP traffic so that it will traverse a trunk
between two directly connected switches but will not travel anywhere
else to be sniffed. I have thought of a few ways, but because the
traffic has a multicast destination address I'm having trouble with the
solution. I tried using a VACL but that leaves the problem of what to
filter. I'm aware that I can configure MD5 authentication on the standby
group, but I would like to filter the traffic. Is this possible?
Any help greatly appreciated
Phill D
