Hi All,
>

Depending on the IOS ver you can see the correct AS needed even if you don't
have access to the box by using later ver of IOS

Running: Cisco IOS Software, 2801 Software (C2801-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M),
Version 12.4(5.13)T4,

debug ip bgp and look for bad OPEN

BGP: 11.1.105.1 bad OPEN, remote AS is 300, expected 200

R5----To whom we have access :

router bgp 100
neighbor 11.1.105.1 remote-as 200

RX--- No access to it:

router bgp 300
 no synchronization
 bgp log-neighbor-changes
 neighbor 11.1.105.5 remote-as 100
 no auto-summary

HTH, Dan
