No major changes are coming at this point. At least not for the lab exam.
We'll see a shift with frame-relay towards preconfiguration of some things,
but that only means they want you to spend more time in different exciting
things. :)

MPLS is not part of the lab exam at this point in time. IPv6 is already on
there, and how much you'll see is up to the creator of any particular lab
exam. There have been rumors of a "mostly IPv6 lab" for a long time now.
Whether it happens or not is a different story, but it shouldn't make any
difference!

The router thinks the same way in forwarding packets! :)

Subject: CCIE R&S New Sylabus

Hi All,

Recently I heard that CCIE R&S Sylabus is changing and we gonna see more of
MPLS and IPv6 in it. Also, Frame Relay won't be there ???

Any idea when it is expected and what else we gonna see in there ?
Appreciate your reply to this email.

Thanks
Moazzam
