Another usage of Anycast RP could be to provide redundancy within a
single multicast domain, where you have two or more routers configured
with the same IP address and accepting PIM messages from the rest of the
routers.
This also provides load-sharing as all of the configured anycast RP will
be active. Therefore multicast sources (or rather their DRs) could
register with different RP router, while multicast receivers and their
shared trees could be rooted at different RP router. This necessitates
the need of synchronizing all anycast RPs with MSDP. All of that within
a single domain.
