Yeah, excellent advice.
I never "started over" as the original post mentioned. For example, I found that in Mock Labs and actual lab attempts, I was always scoring perfectly in the Layer 2 technologies. Therefore, when picking up the intense studies again, I would not bother with that material other than practicing it when necessary completing a full lab. Where I would spend enormous amounts of time would be with my weak areas. For me it was things like BGP and Multicast, which I had 0% real world experience in, that would make up my days of study.
Working on your areas of weakness can be difficult, since it is not fun to do things that cause us pain! Try and make it as fun as you can. I used to drink a lot of Sam Adam's while playing with Multicast.

I will reschedule for a further date, it is always possible to reschedule a lab exam within the next 15 days of your actual calendar date, as people is always dropping lab dates, it is not worth it to cram information like crazy for the exam as there is so much information in day you can assimilate plus the fact that the exam fee and other expenses are high to waist them plus the frustration of failing an exam, however do not loose the focus and momentum you have already got, plan your self for a date even though you haven4t schedule it through Cisco site and work towards that goal, again, finding a date close to the actual date is very easy, at least on San Jose site which is where I have always scheduled,
