cpu utilization isn't too bad...consistently less than 30% on my pc. i do
have numerous redundant links in my topology, but none of the devices really
have any configurations on them other than my "spanning root vlan 1 prio
1600" command on one device. spanning tree normally sets all interfaces to
blk / fwd pretty quickly and remains stable...definitely not the case here.
