Exactly!!! the task is to make the trunk port f0/14 a designated port. The
problem is that f0/14 is a root port. There are 2 other ports connected to
the root f0/13 and f0/15. If I change the cost all I'm doing is possibly
making another port the root port and putting f0/14 into altn blocking
state. Even if I make f0/13 or f0/15 the root port(I would have to make
them trunks which was not asked for anywhere in the lab). I can't make
f0/14 a designated port, because that makes a loop and STP won't allow that.
The SG is wrong wrong wrong, and I was trying to find out if there is some
"exotic" way to accomplish the task.
