So whats with young achievers and acceptance? Every now and then we see kids
with certifications and industries just want to stay away from them. Sure
with age like 12 and 13 it would be child labor, but when a 16 year old CCNP
applies for a job he suddenly "Don't have what we're looking for...".
These kids may not have much experience with real equipments, but you have
to start from somewhere to gain experience. Few years ago when I got my RHCE
no one would allow me to work on grid computing because it was domain of the
elderly. I had to remove my date of birth from all online profiles and
resume before I started getting decent assignments in grid and core unix.
I'd like to hear from young CCIEs at groupstudy like Brian and Roman if they
had to face these issues in their early 20s. Just some guidelines for early
achievers from the masters...
