Well, the first attempt pass rate is something like 26%, so you can be
sure that most of us failed at least once before passing. I didn't say
anything about my fail because I didn't want/need sympathy, nor did I
need any encouragement after failing - I was motivated enough on my
own. It had nothing to do with embarrassment, I think if you go in
expecting to pass first go you set yourself up to be very
disappointed. I was confident I knew the technologies, but didn't
*expect* to pass, just hoped I wouldn't make silly mistakes. After the
1st one I knew where I went wrong, booked the next available seat, did
some more hard work and passed on the 2nd attempt. Maybe if I had
failed the 2nd attempt I would have needed encouragement ;)
