Hi Folks,
Access to the Cisco DOC whether in html format through your browser or on CD
would be made available to you in the lab based on your lab location.
Being able to access the DOC CD is not part of what the lab would be testing
you on. As such, the proctors are usually more than willing to assist you in
locating the documention page. For all you know, it may be the home page of
the browser on your lab workstation.
My advice to you is to use it throughout your preps regardless of whether
you have it on DVD or directly from cisco.com. When I was preparing for my
lab, I downloaded all the DOC CD pdf files onto my laptop and used it
thoroughly.
If I were to test you on DHCP in a task, you should be able to immediately
tell whether that technology is covered in the IOS IP Application Service
Guide or IOS IP Addressing Services Guide. What if I were to test
you on Server Load Balancing or NAT? You would develop such skills easily
only if you use it daily in your preps.
Worry about mastering such things and little about its availability in the
real lab.
