Folks, Just wondering if this Dell desktop is good enough to run all the
13instances for a full lab running on Windows platform. This is the cheapest
Quad processor series from Dell. Method1 Dell Vostro 410 Tower Free Upgrade
from Intel. Core2 Duo Processor Q6600 to Intel. Core2 Duo Processor Q9300
Memory 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (2 x 1GB)
Before purchasing this new Dell machine, i would like to try method 2 1st,
just ordered 2GB RAM for my Dell Inspiron6400 laptop. Will try this using a
multiserver environment Method2 Dell inspiron D6400 <1.6GHZ Dual processor,
2GB RAM> + ThinkCentre M50 <3GHz single processor, 1GB RAM> If Method2 still
cant cope with the full lab load, i will proceed to get a new machine based on
the specs of Method1. Thanks for any kind replies. Cheers Nit
