dynagen has a capture utility integrated into the control panel. you can
capture any interface in your virtal pod and then open the .cap file in
wireshark.
you'll indeed see its UDP 521.

Subject: IPv6 RIP port number
Hi GS,
All documentation shows that RIPng uses UDP port 521, (whereas RIP
version1 and version 2 uses UDP port 520).
R1#sh ipv6 rip | in port
RIP process "RIPng", port 521, multicast-group FF02::9, pid 163
However, when I tried an acl to match RIPng packets, the IOS online help
info refering to UDP520. This made me confused.
R1(config)#ipv6 access-list TEST
R1(config-ipv6-acl)#permit udp any any eq ?
rip Routing Information Protocol (router, in.routed, 520)
I believe this must be a mistake, isn't it. Just want confirmation from
group. Thanks.
Cheers,
Huan
