I have got a large Flat network , about 2000 user network , backbone switch is 6509 on the hq with many 3550 , 2800, 1800 and 500.
there is only 2 vlan , 1 for data and 1 for voice , default vlan is 20
this network connects p2p to other branch offices ,
What are the major design constraints which i need to note down before going on segregating the network .
the new setup posts about 10 vlan .
