  Topology - Cisco Express 500 Switch connects to 3550 , this connects to the backbone network .

  PC in this branch are not able to get dhcp address .

port fast is enabled on switches , ip helper is configured , still not working . DHCP server is reachable from the switch .

what might be the reason for this problem.
