HI,guys,
I met a issue when I was going to do RIPv2 on PIX.
It is a different to use network command between router's IOS and PIX's IOS.
The goal is that I will run RIP on all interfaces of PIX.
so I use the following commands:
PIX2(config-router)# sh run router
!
router rip
 network 0.0.0.0
 version 2
 no auto-summary
!
The result is that the PIX can receive all routes from other
neighbors, but the neighbors cannot receive a route from PIX.I use deb
rip eve on PIX,it displays only receiving, not sending
But if I use the specified mayjor network,OK.
router rip
network 10.0.0.0 //all interfaces belong to the same major network,10.0.0.0/8
 version 2
 no auto-summary

Then the routers can receive all routes form PIX,
I wonder if there is a bug on the version.
PIX2(config)# sh ver
