Like anything, it's about isolating what can or cannot be done on other
equipment. Most features are covered by your more "normal" equipment (non
7200). Features specific to the 12.2S images though cannot. You can use
the Feature navigator (www.cisco.com/go/fn) to look at differences in IOS
features.

Different vendors have different setups in rack rentals. Some will have
7200's integrated into the pods. Proctorlabs has a completely separate pod
for 7200 and ATM usage. Either way, you can still do much of your studies
on the equipment that you have. Then simply look at other methods to check
of the short list of things you can't do on your own equipment! I think
you'll find that with some "targeted learning" you can fill in the gaps very
easily!

You may want permission from your family before jumping in so soon! But
either way, best of luck to you!

Scott

Subject: Question for SP IE

I am taking time off (month or so) to get to know my family and friends
again after finally passing the RS lab. But I want to slowly gather
information (recommended books, when to line up for the Bootcamps and
required equipment for my lab.

I have an LS1010 and 3560/3550 switches and plenty of 3640's.....no 7200's.
Should this suffice or do I need to upgrade equipment? I don't have DSL
ability for PPPoE but have experience setting it up from the customer side.
Looking for some direction on this one.

Thanks,

Jeffrey Biggs
