Subject: Passed CCIE SP Lab

Hi all,

I passed CCIE SP lab at Sydney on May 26, 2008, 10 months of studying
after R&S. It was a well prepared lab with lots of tricky points. But I
am very happy that I passed it on my first attempt. I used the books
below for CCIE SP lab preparation and general understanding of
technologies in blueprint:

1) Cisco Press - MPLS Configuration on Cisco IOS Software

2) Cisco Press - MPLS and VPN Architectures, Volume 1 & 2

3) Cisco Press - MPLS Fundamentals

4) Cisco Press - Traffic Engineering with MPLS

5) Cisco Press - Layer 2 VPN Architectures

6) Cisco Press - Routing TCP-IP Volume 1 & 2

7) Cisco Press - BGP Design and Implementation

8) Cisco Press - End to End QoS Network Design Quality of Service in
LANs WANs and VPN

9) Doc CD and CCO

As for R&S, Internetwork Expert CCIE SP Workbook was an excellent
resource. I solved lots of ten labs forth time. I consider all
configuration option and do more testing so that difference solutions
give different spot hidden issue. They were excellent...really. I give
my special thanks to Brian Dennis, Brian Mcgahan, Petr Lapukhov,
everyone in IEWB Forum and Group Study.

IPexpert CCIE SP Workbook was another excellent resource. I also give my
special thanks to Scott Morris. He gives me for another difference point
of view for CCIE SP lab preparation.

I also use Internetwork Expert and NetMasterClass CCIE R&S Workbook to
revise IGP, BGP, QoS, Multicast and IP Services.

Now it is time for me to spend my free time as I wish. Maureen for your
precious tip and all of you guy who always keep posting.

I wish luck for everyone on the way of success.

Regards,
