Dude, just open them up and blow them out. If your compressor is decent
then you might be able to blow them out from one side but if not the remove
the case screws and crack 'em open! No big deal...honest. Besides, don't
you want to see what's inside? I always do. ;-)

Subject: OT - 3550/3560 Dust Problem

Hey all, I had some construction done in my house (removing tile) and it
basically covered everything in this layer of dust. My rack was covered but
daily use of air condition/heater recerculated some of it and now I see my
fan areas are covered with it. Since I have never had this problem at work
and can not find anything on cisco about possibly opening up the devices and
cleaning them I thought maybe someone else has had this problem (or knows
what to do). I usually take my unix servers apart once a year and blow them
out with my compress which has never affected them but not sure about the
cisco devices.

Thanks for any help!
