yes you could use a distribute-list, distance 255, summary-address with an
admin distance of 255, using a different process and filtering on
tags/routes through a route-map, all can be used to filter routes.

if it's a question, look at the wording of the question, it could be that a
specific routes doesn't exist in the table ie in a show ip route
10.1.1.0/24doesn't existing, though this doesn't mean that you don't
need to
have reachability to it ie via a default, using a summary etc.
