My student's physical interface config who are members of the port-channel
is different than the logical port channel interface.

I.E. Different trunk encap, different native vlan, different mode, etc.

I recommend,

1. putting the physical interfaces into the channel-group (with a range
command)
2. going to int po 1, etc. and doing the rest of the configuration

Of course, shutdown both sides until you are ready to go live!

i.e. Since no negotiation is active why it would turn to be err-disable?
