Hi GS,
Does any experts here facing this problem: router can not ping its interface
IP address? For: I'm having 2 routers're talking OSPF via a POS link : R1
with POS1/0/0 with IP 192.168.62.253/30, R2 with POS1/0/0 with IP
192.168.62.254/30. After configured properly, I found that the OSPF neighbor
output from both routers shown that their neighbor are in EXCHANGE state.
Tried to ping its connected interface and itself but all are
timeout: R1#ping 192.168.62.253 -------->timeout
R1#ping 192.168.62.254 --->timeout
2 routers are running MPLS in backbone. Tried to shut down 1 POS interface
but still not OK. Logging shown that:

I do not understand why I can not ping the local interface IP address of
POS1/0/0 in these 2 routers why other local interfaces are OK and other
routers in same conditions can ping POS1/0/0 IP? Any suggestion for this
problem?
Thanks and Regards,
Khoa Le
