Hello All,
Like everybody, I wished to writed PASSED CCIE CCIE# in the subject.
Unfortunately, I failed with a very close score. I really put lots of time the
third attempt to understand all the core technologies and fill all my
weaknesses. One of the big reasons I am failing is because of jet lag. I live
in Canada as permemnant resident. Getting to USA is impossible. I submitted a
visitor visa application since 1 year and a half and they never got back to
me, neither yes or no. I am from originally from the middleeast , Lebanon, and
that's explains it. I couldn't wait flew to Dubai and to Brussels for the
exam. The exam used to start as 11:00 pm vancouver time in Dubai and it
started 1 hour late in Brussels which was 12:00am vancouver time.
The last attempt was last Sunday in Brussels. The last three hours I felt
that my brain is no more productive and up to speed. I finished the lab in 7.5
hours and had only 0.5 hours to review and verified as much as I can. I know
that I shouldn't have failed. I understood all the technologies and worked on
all my weaknesses.
For me, I won't give up. But the issue is when and how can I do it again.
Jet lag is an issue and money for me is an issue. I am self funding this and I
used the long way by purchasing internetworkexpert end to end CCIE self-paced
track. Till now 14000$. I can't attend boot camps as welll due to money and
Visa issues.
My score reported showed that all the core was 90% correct. It is only the
final questions and easy ones I failed due to the jet lag. I requested a
reread for my exam hoping that it may change somethings because in IOS
Services the scoring was 25% which I consider very low and couldn't believe
it. I hope the reread changes something.
Congratulations for all who passed,
Remark: If you'er questioning how did I know my score, I counted how many
questions I had in each section. From the scoring % in each section I was able
to figure out how many questions I missed. The score ended up in a rane of 76
to 79.
Regards,
