faux pas?

I'm moving from Canberra, Australia to Vancouver, Canada in about a month.

Not really having a good idea of the geography, could I ride my push
bike from Vancouver to Anchorage and back each day?

(..I'm KIDDING!)

cheers,
Dale

PS: how much does it cost to hire a grizzly for the commute if the
path is too icy for a bicycle?
