Zakir,
Besides that great document that Mr. Morris pointed you out there is a
little funny command in the switches to test the formulas explained in that
document.
SwD1#test spanning-tree diameter 7 2
diameter 7 and hello time 2 gives max age = 20 and forward delay 15
