Dear Noor,
To best of my knowledge, If you are trying to advertise network in BGP
and its not in your IGP routing table, It won't be visible in Sh ip bgp
command.....
Lets say you have loopback 0 configured as
Int l 0
Ip add 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
Router bgp 100
Network 1.0.0.0 \\ won't be visible in BGP coz of subnet mask. BGP will
consider 1.0.0.0/8 and it is not in your routing table...
To advertise use the following command
Network 1.1.1.0 mask 255.255.255.0
In addition, use "no syn" command as well if it is disable by default in
your IOS.
If you need further clarification, Please do let me know
Regards
