Hi
   You have to consider these things when you are facing issues with VTP.
- check the domain name and password are correct. ( Sh vtp status, Sh
vtp password)
- check proper trunking connectivity is there.(Sh int trunk)
then if you are not getting the vlans to client, try to

1. change the configuration revision number in the server by creating
a vlan and check the client (Sh vtp status ) .it will help you
OR
2. shutdown the trunk and enable the trunk link and chek.
OR
3. if there are no updater source for vtp , try to create one addr as
VTP updater source. then try to change the configuration revision
number and check the client..
