MATT,

It depends what machine you are using.. Its specs... and how you tune
it.
As far as to sh & no sh commands are concerns, I never had a
problems...one time in more than enough....

Sometime When you are using a lot of processor cycle, dynamibs behave
strangely

My recommendations are
1. Set Idle PC value.... It will help big time
2. Use multiple instance.... You won't have too much load on a port
3. if you don't have hifi machine, Try to use efficient topology...
Unless you are trying to simulate any venders topology

regards

Subject: Avoiding Broadcast Storms in Dynamips

Hi Team:

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for everything you've
helped
me with. No, for another question - I run dynamips, as I'm sure many of
you
do. What do you do to avoid broadcast storms that can run up ANY
processor
to 100% - is there something I should watch out for? Also, how often do
all
you guys have to shut and no shut interfaces to make them up - how often
reload devices. Just your thoughs

Thanks,
