Thanks for clearing that up :).

Well, lets go back to basics. When you apply that config on a map
statement, it meanst the compression will apply to all packets that
follow this DLCI in question. When you have a second map statement for
a different IP address, pointing to the same DLCI, and you dont
configure the compression on it, the compression will only apply to
packets that follow the first mapping.

In other words, only packets with a destination IP address that match
the first DLCI will undergo the compression, right? Unless I am
overlooking something where.
