There is a known number of CCIE's each year. You should be able to put it
together based on archives. I passed on November 24th, 2000, yes the First
Day was on Thanksgiving. We see 20509 on April 13th, 2008. So we have about
14000 in that timeframe. So about 2000 a year. You have just under 30 months
then. Plenty of time to make it before 25000. But what really is in a
number. My number is just a number, it is on my Business Cards, I have a
Jacket with it, I even have a couple of shirts with it. If you need to
discuss the next 2 years+ with your wife, I think she has some other plans.
Take it easy, and take your time. There is no rush.
