RE: Very Basic ACL Question...

If I am not getting too wrong the question...

You are asked to filter out hosts for two nets:
1. 192.168.100.32/27 (30 hosts)
2. 192.168.100.64/26 (62 hosts)
?

From both sides of those sub-nets two addresses are 2 borrowed for broadcast
and net address... So they are already taken out from host-space...

Hi Joseph,

I wonder if you got my question right.
1. Permit the IP Range 192.168.100.33 ~ 192.168.100.62 *(30 hosts)
*
*or*

2. Permit the IP Range 192.168.100.65 ~ 192.168.100.126 *(62 hosts)*

Note that the requirement is to exclude the last host in those ranges in the
ACL.

Let me know.

Regards,

Ananth
