Hi Tony,

I use a home rack myself. The only downside is the noise. I don't mind the
recabling.

My rack has served me well over the years but I think if I was starting out
then like so many other guys I would probably give the dynamips thing a go.
I have a server put aside for the job but I do wonder if the couple of weeks
I might lose getting it to perform properly would be better spent on the
home rack.

Linux seems to be a good way to run it but the requirements to get that
working seem too awful to contemplate as Im no linux geek.

Back to the home rack (and remote racks for expensive stuff).
