Subject: RE: Multicast PIM warning question
Hello!
May be I got You wrong... but PIM should be on the MCast links - i.e between
MCast routers if's...
On the 'edge" interface, towards the MCast client, we should use igmp...
May be this is the reason?
WBR, Alex

Subject: Multicast PIM warning question
Hi all,
Does anyone know why I would be getting this message on one of my multicast
routers?
*Apr 8 06:09:03.092: %MROUTE-3-NO_PIM_NBR: There is no PIM neighbor on this
IDB: FastEthernet0/0 -Process= "PIM Process", ipl= 0, pid= 209
The interface is the edge of the multicast network so it doesn't have any
PIM neighbours. I shouldn't be getting a warning message like this right?
Regards,
Mike
