Thanks Joseph/Gary for the reply.. I don't see any big concepts in QoS most
of the thing straight forward with MQC. But with Legacy method you have to
memorise the exact syntax ;-)

If you followed the CoD it is very clearly mentioned how to understand the
problem and how to picturise as what is the target interface and traffic
flow in/out. Which technique you may need to follow out Queueuing, Policing
or shaping.. In queuing only two part BW or priority. If interface
utilization is flapping between High or low it means tail dropping is
happening and you need to choose random-detect technique..FRTS is also
pretty straight forward. I'm bit afraid remembering Legacy commands, which
we rarely using now a days..

Cheers!!

Are you sure?

I would still read the Doc CD QoS, about 10 times before I wagered that. And
I mean everything from switch SRR/WRR to the 12.4 QOS configuration guides,
etc.

But is there any specific
procedure to be followed between Legacy and MQC or we free to choose any.

The IEWB VOL II. (20 labs) has some specific legacy to MQC conversion
techniques. I suppose learning those would come in handy. Brian and Brian
made all those issues really clear in that workbook.

Hi folks..

I've just completed QoS part from IEWB CoD. As far to answer the QoS
question in LAB exam will not be a problem. But is there any specific
procedure to be followed between Legacy and MQC or we free to choose any.

Thanks in advance..

Vinod
