Of course there is a relationship
I remember I had 100s of Cisco Manuals under my desk from the classes that I
have delivered to reference how to configure certain feature so I was
sitting under my desk all the time reading it.
I remember when I went to the exam I hoped to take my keyboard and sit under
the desk too, but no luck. At least it did not affect me and passed 1st
attempt -:)

Is there a relationship between the amount of mess (e.g. crumbs, paper
clips, cat5 cables, workbooks, study partners etc.) under your desk and your
ability or not to pass the CCIE?
Lots of crumbs = more eating < working = fail
No crumbs = no eating + lots of working = pass
