Hi all,
Does anybody know if the hardware queues on a 3550/3560 switch port are
adaptive to the bandwidth command? For instance, I have this config:
interface GigabitEthernet0/12
no switchport
bandwidth 10000
ip address 172.16.12.1 255.255.255.248
load-interval 30
mls qos trust dscp
mls qos monitor dscp 0 10 18 26
auto qos voip trust
wrr-queue bandwidth 10 20 70 1
wrr-queue queue-limit 50 25 15 10
wrr-queue cos-map 1 0 1
wrr-queue cos-map 2 2 4
wrr-queue cos-map 3 3 6 7
wrr-queue cos-map 4 5
priority-queue out
This is an uplink to the service provider CPE device. It connects to the
CPE at 100Mbps, but the actual WAN PVC is only 10Mbps. So I'm wondering
if the queues react as if it's a 10Mbps connection or 100Mbps (or 1000!).
I can't find any documentation on this particular behaviour.
Thanks,
Ryan Morris
