Hi,
I started off with USB NICs patched into powered 4 port USB hubs under
Windows XP and a dual core processor but this was unstable and ultimately
unusable. I now have a quad core processor + 2 Gb of Ram running under
Ubuntu. I bought 3 x Znyx ZX346Q quad port NICs cheap on Ebay so that I can
connect to 2 x 3550s and 2 x 3560s. It runs 9 routers and the frame relay
cloud in Dynamips perfectly with low CPU usage (after applying idlepc
values) and it never crashes like it did under XP !
