I have read some on BGP synchronization. I read that it is rarely ever
turned on nowadays but the issue it was designed to resolve is still a real
issue. What is the point of having it turned off? It seems like it serves
as a failsafe mechanism. Is it the idea that if you want to blackhole
traffic the router will let you?
Thanks
Steve
