We could not tell you if even if we knew :) NDA

But, forget the lab for a minute... isn't this one thing you think a CCIE
would want to know?

I mean come on, here you are a newly minted a CCIE and you're in a room full
of people and someone says "hey ED, you're a CCIE, what the difference
between the AVF, and the AVG, and if we have 4 cat 6509's can we load
balance traffic to the internet using GLBP, and if we do, how good is the
load balancing? What issues do you see with us doing this?

Or if the discussion is default gateway redundancy with a Cisco 7206VXR G2
and a Juniper M7i for a fleet of checkpoint firewalls...

Now we are talking vrrp. Someone asks you Does VRRP do preemption? Does VRRP
have a timer where a device can wait for a route to appear in the routing
table before it will be the VRRP primary (i.e. a default route)?

Isn't being a *real CCIE* worth a few minutes on the CLI and doing some
debugs to figure out how this stuff really works???

I don't let my CCNP students leave the BCMSN track without those answers and
more...

Subject: GLBP and/or VRRP being tested

Hi group,

Are both GLBP and VRRP being tested on the lab exam? It is not listed
on the lab exam blueprint. Anyone has an idea about it?

Thanks,
Lui
