Hi Group,
I came across the following post while searching the archives:

To quote it:

Brian Dennis suggested to get into ROMMON and do a confreg. You will be
able to see the name of the file the router will try to boot.
For my router, the outputs of confreg is as follows:
rommon 1 > confreg
Configuration Summary
(Virtual Configuration Register: 0x2102)
enabled are:
load rom after netboot fails
console baud: 9600
boot: image specified by the boot system commands
or default to: cisco2-c1841
do you wish to change the configuration? y/n [n]: n
rommon 2 > reset
Firstly, is the above procedure correct and will not affect the router from
loading back the startup-config correctly? I'm not comfortable to perform
this step especially when answering this question (under System Management
section) at the last hours of the lab.
Secondly, as per outputs above, should I be configuring the following
command on R4?
R4(config)#tftp-server flash:cisco2-c1841
Warning: flash:cisco2-c1841 does not exist. Command retained.
R4(config)#
Please advise.
Thank you.
BR,
Emil
