Int f0/0
Ip address 192.168.5.1 255.255.255.0
Ip helper-address 192.168.10.30

So if the interface didn't have ip helper by default it doesn't forward dhcp
requests... you can fine-tune the default protocols the router will forward

With the ip forward-protocol commands....

Course, I'll let trinity tell you the rest...

Subject: to stop sending dhcp request / responses

Hi Group,

Is there any command to disable dhcp ( router ) server to send the dhcp
request or responses to the client ? (not using the ACL's).Say if i have 2
Ethernet interface on my router , i want to allow dhcp response and request
send and receive on only one interface...

regards,

sakthi.
