BGP ORF capability - why ipv4 address family?

hi all,

I'm looking at BGP Outbound Route Filtering, ORB. Does anyone know why it
has to be done in the IPV4 address family? I've found it works fine on under
the default BGP router config... I can't find documentation on it on the
doc cd, so I guess you'd have to know this pretty well in case it turned up.
