Thanks for the replies and sorry for the late response.
I wound up re-doing this lab from scratch and could not replicate the
connectivity issue. My home lab is based on Dynamips running on a MAC Mini
with external switches. It's possible that after rebooting my MAC Mini this
cleared the strange issue I was experiencing. I did again configure "no ip
route cache-flow" under the multipoint interface but still could not
replicate the issue so I'll have to chalk this one up to Dynamips or the MAC
Mini.
