I'm using Kubuntu 7.10 desktop (amd64 version). My laptop is intel T700
with 4GB ram. I suggest you to increase the memory.

Hi,

I want to try and switch over to Ubuntu when running a full IE topology (13
routers).
I want to use a laptop running with 1Gig of memory

- Should I use Ubuntu Desktop 7.10, or Ubuntu Server 7.10? - I assume server
- Can someone tell me how to install Dynamips/Dynagen on the server (I've
seen examples of how to install it on the desktop)
- Are there any specific things I need to do to only install a base system?
